Hanover/Lorsch, 07.03.2007 – TrekStor, the leading manufacturer of high quality MP3 players, external hard disks and USB sticks, will be presenting a new external hard disk, the DataStation maxi t.uch, at the CeBIT 2007 tech-nology trade fair (Hall 1, Stand A61) in Hanover from March 15-21. The 3.5 inch hard disk is a winner with its integrated 9 format card reader compatible with anything from SD to compact flash memory cards, its dual USB 2.0 hub and functionality for automatically backing up of its own data.
The 3 in 1 hard disk
The new external hard disk is the ideal solution for performing daily backups and transporting or exchanging data. The backup software included in the de-liverables allows data to be backed up immediately at the click of a switch, with-out the necessary settings having to be called up again. The new, mobile hard disk is also capable of reading 9 separate formats of memory cards – including MS duo pro, SD – Secure Digital Card and Compact Flash Card type I/II – via an integrated card reader. This allows data to be transferred smoothly and easily to the hard disk or the PC. The integrated dual USB 2.0 hub enables further USB devices to be connected. The DataStation maxi t.uch offers extremely fast data transfer thanks to a high speed USB 2.0 interface, is bootable and has been preformatted for immediate use. It is finished in a smart, black aluminum casing and delivered with 250 – 500 GB storage capacity.
Price and availability
The DataStation maxi t.uch is available with immediate effect from all the usual specialist retail outlets. Prices range from €119,99 (250 GB) to €174,99 (400 GB). All prices are inclusive of sales tax (VAT).
