TrekStor in blaxx at the IFA
The movie/MP3 player TrekStor blaxx extends the series of new multimedia playersLorsch, 21.08.2007 – TrekStor, leading manufacturer of high-quality MP3 players, external hard disks and USB sticks, will present yet another new movie/MP3 player, the TrekStor blaxx, in Hall 16 of this year's IFA 2007 (to be held in Berlin from August 31st until September 5th). This extremely flat, mini-player with black finish has a movie player for replay of videos, a sharp-image TFT display with 260,000 colour capability, an integrated stereo FM radio as well as a dictation device, folder navigation and an ID3-tag display. The blaxx is also equipped with a Line-in connection for recording from external audio sources. TrekStor blaxx models are available with 2 or 4 gigabyte memory storage capacities. This provides sufficient storage for up to 80 albums of music favourites. Enough for users to enjoy 15 hours without a pause.

Features for absolute multimedia pleasure
The TrekStor blaxx has a flat touchpad for simple, quick operation via illuminated sensors. In addition to conventional MP3, WMA or WAV files, this new movie player supports the replay of OGG and SMV files as well as WMA-DRM-9 (Digital Rights Management) format for listening to songs purchased in Internet.
As a movie player it can replay videos in SMV format. This super-thin MP3 player has dimensions of 34 mm x 81 mm x 8 mm (W x H x D) and weighs just 26 grams, including its rechargeable battery, so it can be taken along everywhere without difficulty. This chic mini-player also has a shuffle function that allows titles to be selected and played at random. When this multimedia unit is switched on again, a resume function permits it to take up replay operation at precisely the point where it was interrupted. The TrekStor blaxx even permits the recording of WAV files directly from the integrated radio. Slideshows can be presented from pre-stored images in either JPEG or BMP format. The integrated Lithium-polymer battery can be recharged over a USB interface connection.
Price
The blaxx costs between 119.99 EUR (2 GB) and 149.99 EUR (4 GB). Included in the package are: Sennheiser headphones, USB 2.0 cable, Line-In cable, neck strap, Magix MP3 Maker SE, software drivers CD and operating instructions.
Entertainment with Dieter Bohlen & Co. from TrekStor
TrekStor will again present numerous new multimedia products at this year's IFA. Appearances and autograph sessions by stars like Dieter Bohlen, US 5, Charles Shaw & Band as well as Jessica Wahls from No Angels will generate the right atmosphere at the TrekStor Stand in Hall 16 and be available for signatures. Radio stations Jam FM and Sunshine Live will be on-hand to make daily live broadcasts and hold prize contests. On Sunday, September 2 at 18:00, there will again be a legendary stand party.
