In case of the PDF format books, the text is not displayed properly? What can I do?

The presentation of the text in PDF files can be changed through the Reflow function. The plain text is displayed via this function, however, pictures and graphics are not displayed. To activate the Reflow function for a PDF file, open the PDF and select the Options Menu using the Menu button. Now, go to "Text only (Reflow)" and select "On (Reflow)". In order to return to the original view, select "Off (Original)".

When I flip the pages, the text of the previous page shines through (Ghosting). What is it and what can I do to prevent it?

'Ghosting' is a normal effect that can occur in digital ink displays. When multiple pages are selected in sequence without letting the display to refresh fully, it may happen that "remains" of the previous pages appear on the following pages.
Ghosting can be prevented by frequently refreshing the display. This, however, requires more power than a less frequent refreshing. You can choose on your eBook Reader, after how many pages the device performs a complete page refresh.
You can change the Page Refresh interval in the displayed book by selecting the Refresh Display option under the Options Menu.

Up to what limit can the memory be extended using a memory card?

The device supports memory cards (microSDHC) with a capacity up to 32 GB.

What is Digital Ink® technology?

When using the Digital Ink® technology, the illustration of text or pictures is adopted by a "digital ink". The display is passive: It does not light as conventional LCDs and consumes energy only when loading or flipping a page. This achieves a very long battery life time. Once set "digitale ink" remains until the next image build-up, i. e. the last displayed page remains visible, even if the eBook Reader is already switched off. A "burning-in" into the display is not possible with Digital Ink.
