Exquisite, extravagant and naturally in pink: TrekStor and celebrity singer P!nk present new MP3 and movie player

Lorsch, 30.10.2006 – TrekStor, the leading manufacturer of high quality MP3 players, external hard disks and USB sticks, and celebrity singer P!nk, are jointly presenting a new MP3 player offering much more than is obvious at first sight: the slim, exquisite and compact case – naturally with a pink front – and glossy silver aluminum rear – that has been exclusively reserved for an engraving of the singer’s signature – not only provide for robustness but also make the player a real eye-catcher. This neat mini-gadget comes with a movie player for showing films, an integrated FM radio, folder navigation, ID3 tag display and an integrated dictation machine. The 2 gigabyte flash storage module offers enough space for up to 500 of its owner’s favorite songs and allows 10 hour’s uninterrupted listening ecstasy.

Stylish extras for pure pleasure
The i.Beat P!nk includes a flat touch pad that can be operated quickly and easily via the bank of illuminated sensor keys. For her fans, the player contains a database of P!nk images that can be displayed on the integrated viewer or 65,000 color TFT display using a slide show function. Besides classical MP3, WMA and WAV files, the new MP3 player also supports WMA-DRM (Digital Rights Management) 9 format, often needed for playing songs purchased over the Web. The ultra-slim MP3 player, measuring 37 mm x 80 mm x 9 mm (B x H x D), weighs in at just 33 grams (including rechargeable battery). The lithium polymer battery can be recharged via a USB interface.

This small attraction also supports a shuffle function that can be used to randomly select and play tracks. When the mini-player is switched on again, a resume function allows it to continue playing exactly from where it left off before it was interrupted. With i.Beat P!nk, users can even record WAV files directly from the radio. The new MP3 player is available in the color schemes pink & silver with white light emitting diodes (LEDs) and in black & silver with pink LEDs... the perfect combination to thrill the hearts both of P!nk’s male and female fans.

Price and availability
The MP3 player i.Beat P!nk will be available from all the usual specialist retail outlets in Germany from the end of November at a retailers’ recommended price (RRP) of €99.00 (1 GB) and €129.99 (2 GB) including VAT. The deliverables include a pair of Sennheiser headphones, a USB 2.0 cable, Magix MP3 Maker SE, a software driver / driver CD and a user manual.
